Christmas Idea

Just in time for your Christmas shopping!
Check out one of my Dad's new websites. This one is not the big one (where you can design your own shirts). He is still working on that one.  This is strictly a retail site. It has clothes and some accessories.  Check out the prices, they are generally 10-20% below suggested retail.

Looking for Christmas ideas or just some new clothes?  Check out this website:

Fun with Photo Booth!

Ok so me and Jess got a little bored today before Ward prayer, so this is a result of our boredom... sorry there are a lot of pictures but we were having fun :)

Here we are sleeping... well trying :)

I'm drooling on Jess' arm while she is happily dreaming :)  Haha not really, that would be gross...

Biggest Mouth Contest!!  Who's mouth is bigger?!?!

Oh so adorable... The boys downstairs decided that it's too difficult calling both of us Jessica so they took our last names and formed them into nicknames.  So therefore we are now known as Roy (based of Rau) and Norm (short for Norman).

Tie Date

So on Thursday night our dear friend Allen hooked us up with some chocolate milk from Lee's that i guess they could not sell or something like that... anyway so we (Jess, Shawn, and I) were just happily drinking our chocolate milk when suddenly Jess got a little bit too excited about something and hit Shawn with a very large pillow, spilling his cup of milk ALL over him!!  Haha it was everywhere!  Shawn was a good sport though and luckily the jacket was saved after a having a little shout fight... sorry this picture doesn't really show how bad it really was.

So in our ward we had a little activity called a "Tie Date."  Each guy put in a tie (actually two ties since we have twice as many girls than guys), then all of us girls went and picked a random tie.  They told us who the tie belonged too and we had to do three nice things secretly for this person throughout the week and then they took us on a date.  The guys didn't find out who had their tie until the date.

Me and my roommate Jenni picked a tie that the date was at the same time so we could be together.  So on Saturday morning we showed up at their doorstep then they took us up on campus and we played Frisbee golf which is way fun!  I've never played before and I wasn't very good but it was still a lot of fun.  Then we went to Casper's and ate some delicious ice cream.  I had a lot of fun so it was just great!

Jess wasn't in our same group but her date was at the same time as ours was, so here she is wearing her date's tie... well at least trying too :)

Just look at our amazing tie tying skills!!  The Internet is so great!  You can learn so many things haha!  It took us ten minutes just to tie the half Windsor knot... but don't they look so great?!

After the Tie Date I went downstairs to watch the football game.... ugh, SO frustrating... I don't know what was wrong with Max Hall but he was literally throwing the game to Utah.  Anyway, usually I would be way upset about it, because I really like football and I get extremely and emotionally involved, but this year it didn't bother me as much... I guess it's just because now I'm an AGGIE!!

Office Party

Ok so yesterday was pretty eventful.  Every Thursday there is a Hurd dinner and coach's show (the Hurd is basically the spirit club here) and they usually give us pretty good food so we went and stood in line for a half hour just to find one tiny slice of little ceasar's pizza at the end of the line... and that's ALL!  We were all way disappointed but oh well.  Our friend Todd who lives downstairs had an Office/"Dark side of the Moon" set to Wizard of Oz (or something like that) party.  Last week he had a similar party but we watched Snow White set to Beatles music and I made Strawberry Shortcake to go along the beatles theme (We called it the strawberry fields forever cake :).  So this week I made lemon bars, but I hadn't made them for a really long time so they didn't quite turn out how I had imagined but everyone still loved them so it's all good.  Anyway so we were all just hanging out down in their apartment and our friend Shawn got a call from some random number asking about his van being for sale.  He was so confused and all of these people kept calling and calling... We figured out that someone had put his van up on KSL.com for FREE!!  Haha it was pretty hilarious!!

After tons and tons of texts, calls, and voicemales the guilty one called and confessed because he felt bad.  It was so sad because someone text him and said that her husband just had a stroke and they really needed it for transportation and Shawn is such a nice boy that he was ready to give up his van for real!!

Also last night at midnight was the Freshman's turn to start registering for classes next semester, so i got on at like 12:03 and the system was already down.  The banner has been having so many problems this week.  It has been crashing like crazy and frustrating everyone.  I stayed up and it finally let me in at one and I was able to get into all of the classes I wanted.  So far I'm signed up for Family Finance, Marriage and Family Relationships, Physical Geography, and Career and Life Planning (which will hopefully help me figure out a what I want to major in).  Then today I was talking to my roommates and me and my cousin Jen discovered that we have two classes together which totally wasn't even planned!!  My other two classes I found out I have with the other Jenni :)  Haha I'm so excited now!

Friday Hike

We went for a hike up the canyon which was a lot of fun, but we left kind of late so we were hiking in the dark for half of it.  It was so pretty outside!  I just love the outdoors!  Being out in the mountains made we want to go camping SO bad!  After the hike we went to Fredricho's and ate very delicious pizza!  Oh it was good.

Nate, "The Jessicas", and Shawn

Oh yeah we also brought a box of mini wheats with us (that's the only food Shawn had in his car), just incase we got stranded out in the wilderness :) Haha

Jessica Love!

Posing on this "Perfect Picture Rock"

This is us trying to be Gansta!

Feeding The Ducks

Both of my classes got cancelled on Friday which was really nice.  I had all these plans to be really productive and do some homework, but I slept in, made some french toast (for the first time ever :), got distracted on Facebook, then my roommate Jenni came in my room and started talking to me.  Then our friend Fred came over and we went and fed the ducks at first dam.  Haha yeah, so much for doing homework... anyway, first dam was pretty fun.  Fred had a big bag of old bread to feed to them.  There were tons of them everywhere and it was kind of funny to watch them fight for the bread... but they just kept getting closer and closer!  The geese were practically attacking us which was scary so i ran away :)

The funny thing is, we started out standing at the edge of the water... haha

There were so many of them!!

Fred daringly risked losing his own finger to feed this feisty goose.  I think he is crazy!!  Those geese were so scary!  They would just stare you down and keep getting closer and closer until you gave them some bread.

Halloween

Honestly Halloween is probably my least favorite holiday.  I really just don't like any part of it.  It was great when I was a little gal and I could go trick-or-treating and get sick on loads of candy, but now it's just lame.  I do like to dress up and be weird though (as you can see from our all-nighter adventure).  Our ward had a Halloween party for FHE and we couldn't figure out what to dress up as so we just went to DI... of course!  I ended up being an old grandma, which was kinda lame but hey it worked.

Melanie was a hippy, Marral was a dead school girl and Jenni was an army chick.

Cousins/Roommates!!

This was before the Howl party on Friday, which was pretty lame by the way... Waste of my fifteen dollars.  It was frustrating because we had to wait in line for an hour just to buy our tickets and then when we got there, there were just way too many people and we got sick of seeing girls wearing practically nothing and guys dressed as girls... haha yeah quite interesting.

A fairy, Cowgirl, 80's exercise girl, witch, and a bumble bee.

After the Howl was great though.  We went to Village Inn with some friends and ate some delicious strawberry banana french toast with eggs and bacon.  Mmm mmm mmm Delicious!!
