Tip-Toe Through the Tulips

Last weekend we went down to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point with some of our friends!  Jeff and I had never been before so it was great and we saw lots of pretty tulips!

 Such cute Newlyweds!

Annnnnnd the Oldlyweds :)
(2 years baby!!)

Our last week or so has been pretty fun... On Monday we went to San Francisco for the day (post and pictures to follow)!  Thursday, Jeff had something down in American Fork so we drove down for that, then continued on to Provo to visit one of my old roommates that I haven't seen in awhile.

Then, we figured since we were down we would go visit the Mapleton Kids.  It's awfully convenient that my brother and sister live 3 houses away from each other and all the nieces and nephews are in one location!  We hung out at my sisters house for a bit playing Monsters in The Dark in the closest under the stairs, (attempted) to play Candyland with Brynlee, coloring, and got lots of baby time of course!  I just can't get enough of those little ones.  They are 7 1/2 months now, growing up too quickly, and are cuter than ever!

(If you look close enough you can barely see the waterfall waaay up there at the top.  It's a lot better without all the snow ha)

On Saturday we wanted to go on a hike so we picked Donut Falls up Big Cottonwood Canyon.  I totally didn't think about the fact that there would still be snow up there... and I had the bright idea to wear my chacos... ha ha.  Despite the fact that pretty much the entire trail was covered in a LOT of snow and you could hardly even see the waterfall, we had a blast and even made some friends :)  We ended up hiking most of the way up with a retired couple who just moved here from Kansas ha.  They were very friendly and happen to have a son who also is a commercial airline pilot.

And we even saw a moose!! :)
(Jeff loves moose so we're always looking out for them, but rarely see them... so we were pretty excited!)

Friday night we went to some friend's graduation party in Salt Lake and then Saturday night we hung out with our good friends who were down from Logan!  This last week is the most social we've been in a long time ha ha.  It was great to spend time with so many great friends and family!
