Mountain Escape

We took advantage of Jeff's days off this week to go enjoy the beauty of the Unita Mountains.  Growing up my family would go camping once a year in these mountains so they hold many fond memories of mine.

We got our fill of off-roading on this adventure and took a break to eat dinner at the beautiful Provo River Falls.

We drove quite a ways off road to find this completely isolated, serene location to camp out.  Mmm... doesn't get better than that.  In my mind, that's the only way to camp...

Hey look at the good lookin' truck :)

The wonderful and convenient thing about the truck is that not only does it provide us endless adventures but also doubles as our tent!

The Unita's are home to tons of little lakes.  This one is called Lily Lake... I have no clue why... ;)

And reliving a childhood memory (like I always love to do)...
Couldn't go to the Unitas with out getting a classic "Perfect Picture Rock" photo :)
